To align with Coffee Club Townsville’s refreshed branding, MakMax Australia recently fabricated and two new shade canopy skins in Serge Ferrari 502 Terracotta PVC to re-cover the Monaco Shade Structures originally installed sixteen years ago.

MakMax Australia supplied our local distribution and installation partner in Townsvilla; Shade and Sail, who handled both the initial installation and the recent re-skinning. The seamless re-covering process highlights the versatility and longevity of the Monaco MS50 design, providing an easy refresh for outdoor spaces without replacing the entire structure.

These custom-fabricated covers revitalised the existing Monaco MS50 Modular Shade Structures, ensuring the café remains both stylish and modern, while patrons remain well-protected from the elements.

The Materials

Originally installed in 2008, the linked Monaco shade structures are a testament to MakMax’s engineering expertise. Designed to withstand Far North Queensland’s harsh weather, including cyclonic conditions, the durable supporting steel remains fit-for-purpose even after 16 years. This longevity underscores the value of investing in high-quality, engineered shade solutions.
