The St Joseph’s College Echuca TensoSport Canopy is a double basketball court school COLA, located at a brand new campus for the historic regional Victorian school.
The Kildare campus, located on the outskirts of the regional Victoria town of Echuca, is an extension to St Joseph’s College. With the prospect of wide open spaces and a clean slate, the school wanted to provide opportunity for students to maximise their outdoor time – and so commission a double-court TensoSport roof.
With a huge span of 43m – the wide rafters help to support the 1700sqm of architectural-grade PVC fabric.
Built in a greenfield site, when completed in August 2024, the TensoSport canopy is one of the first structures to be seen at the new campus.
